Dr. Thakur began by teaching human anatomy to medical students at IGMC Shimla—a deep structural understanding that informs every incision.

Following ENT specialization, he served as Graded Specialist ENT in the Indian Army, managing complex trauma, blast injuries, and endoscopic head-neck surgeries in forward areas.

He subsequently completed his super-speciality MCh in Plastic Surgery at PGIMER Chandigarh, assisting or leading over 2,000 surgeries, followed by an advanced Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship (IAAPS).
